Fr. James T. Booth

A woman filed suit in 2/2003 alleging that Booth sexually abused her when she was age 15 in the late 1960s. A second woman filed suit in 12/2003 alleging that he molested her 1965-1967. Booth left the priesthood in 1971 to marry a 19-year-old university student. He later became an Episcopal priest, living in California. He denied all allegations. His name appears on list of credibly accused released by the San Diego Diocese in 3/2007. His personnel file was released 10/24/2010. Booth died 1/24/2012.
