Fr. Kenneth Bohlinger

Removed quietly from public ministry in 8/1988 and sent to treatment after a report to the Diocese of the past sexual abuse of a young relative. Bohlinger admitted that he was addicted to children. He would take boys from church on camping trips, give them alcohol and pornography, and play sex games with them. He said he had quit abusing in 1986. Moved to AZ. Laicized 3/27/2009. Included on the Diocese’s 9/28/2018 list of those with substantiated allegations.

Our Database of Publicly Accused does not state or imply that individuals facing allegations are guilty of a crime or liable for civil claims. The reports contained in the database are merely allegations. The U.S. legal system presumes that a person accused of or charged with a crime is innocent until proven guilty. Similarly, individuals who may be defendants in civil actions are presumed not to be liable for such claims unless a plaintiff proves otherwise. Admissions of guilt or liability are not typically a part of civil or private settlements. For more information, see our posting policy.
