Fr. Albert Berube

Monsignor. Ordained in Quebec City. Appears to have begun ministry in the U.S. in 1922. Assigned to St. Anthony’s in New Bedford, MA 1933-1969, named pastor in 1949 and pastor emeritus 1969 until his death in 1973. Berube’s name was included on a list released by the District Attorney in 9/2002 of 21 Fall River diocese priests accused of the sexual abuse of minors. The list shows one alleged victim of Berube.
