Fr. Arthur P. Craig

Accused in a lawsuit filed against the Oblates of Mary Immaculate Easter Province in 12/2022 of sexually abusing a girl, ages 4-8, at a Bar Harbor seminary and Bucksport retreat house. The plaintiff claims that she lived in a Massachusetts orphanage affiliated with the Order and was brought to Maine, where she was abused by Craig and other priests. In 1/2025 a judge dismissed the case, ruling in favor of the defendents.
