Fr. William T. White
Report to archdiocese in 1997 of abuse White of a 17-year-old male high school student and continuing for three years in the 1970s. Settlement in 1998 for $100K. White was working in Palm Beach, FL when accusations made. Allowed to continue working after evaluation until 2002; removed from teaching position at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, FL. Accused in a 2/26/04 civil suit of abuse of a boy, ages 9-11 in 1959-61 at Holy Cross parish in Manhattan. Laicized. On NY archdiocese’s list 4/26/19. New suit filed 8/19 alleging abuse 1972-73 of a boy in Rye, ages 11-12.
