Fr. Aloysius Volskis
From the Diocese of Telsiai, Lithuania. Accused in a 3/2021 lawsuit of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old boy in 2010 at Bishop Kelley Catholic School in Lapeer, where the boy was a second-grader. The school was affiliated with Immaculate Conception Parish. Volskis allegedly molested and raped the boy after giving him pills that semi-sedated him during a “spiritual formation” session in the teacher’s lounge. Volskis ceased active ministry in the parish in 2011 after he was accused of the sexual assault of another parishioner. He returned to Europe in 2013. Per the lawsuit, church officials sheltered the priest in the church rectory, then helped him leave the country. The boy came forward to the archdiocese in around 2018.

Our Database of Publicly Accused does not state or imply that individuals facing allegations are guilty of a crime or liable for civil claims. The reports contained in the database are merely allegations. The U.S. legal system presumes that a person accused of or charged with a crime is innocent until proven guilty. Similarly, individuals who may be defendants in civil actions are presumed not to be liable for such claims unless a plaintiff proves otherwise. Admissions of guilt or liability are not typically a part of civil or private settlements. For more information, see our posting policy.
