Fr. Christopher Rossman
Pastor of Annunciation parish in Baldwin City and St. Francis of Assisi in Lapeer when suspended 9/16 after reports to the archdiocese that he had visited “inappropriate websites, including those depicting minors.” Archdiocese said it notified the FBI immediately. On the archdiocese’s list 1/25/19. It notes ongoing law enforcement investigation. Charged in federal court in 7/19 with child porn possession. Pled guilty. Per investigators, Rossman’s sister tried to destroy his computer by running it over. Archdiocese deemed allegations substantiated and laicization was pending as of 3/6/20. Sentenced in 7/20 to 37 months in federal prison.
