Fr. Daniel Polizzi
Ordained for the Santa Rosa diocese. Transferred 5/30/70 to the Diocese of San Diego. Suspended in 1996 after a hospitalized 16-year-old boy (ventilator dependent) managed to let hospital workers know he had been fondled by a priest. Hospital reported to CPS, diocese and police. No criminal charges pursued. In 1997 he was “permanently impeded from priestly ministry” per diocese statement. Polizzi denied all accusations. Died in 2003 in Haiti. Name is on list of priests with credible allegations by San Diego Diocese 3/07. On Santa Rosa diocese’s list 1/12/19.
