Fr. Gary Pacheco
Two early suits filed. One settled in 1994. Pacheco denied the allegations. Removed in 1987. Named in the 2005 Los Angeles Archdiocesan Report, which notes abuse of a minor in 1975. Also named by the Diocese of Orange on its list of accused priests. May also have been named in other litigation. Per his personnel file released in 5/2012, Pacheco was laicized 3/12/1994. Included on the Santa Barbara Province Franciscans list 5/31/2019. It notes allegations of abuse occurring 1975, and 1978-1983 received 1988, 1992, 2004 and 2019.
