Fr. Juan Ramon O’Farrill
From Cuba. Sought political asylum in the US in 1959. Retired in 1983. A 4/2011 civil suit alleged that in 1988 O’Farrill sexually molested a 16-year-old boy from Nicaragua who sought counseling from him at St. Michael the Archangel in west Little Havana. O’Farrill allegedly gave the boy alcohol in orange juice and performed oral sex on him. O’Farrill died in 1994. Just before his death he was arrested and charged with giving an alibi to a robber in exchange for sex.
