Br. Lawrence C. Meegan
Br. Luanus. Joined the Xaverians in 1941. Died in 1977. Per his obituary, Meegan taught in Baltimore MD, Lawrence MA, Louisville KY, Bangor ME and Montvale NJ. Named publicly as accused by his Order on its list 7/12/2019. Allegation reported in 1995 of abuse and rape beginning in 1945 of a boy, ages 13-16, at St. Mary’s Industrial School in Baltimore. Meegan’s accuser said he was sexually abused at the time by several Xaverian Brothers and a Passionist priest. On the Baltimore archdiocese’s list 7/23/2019. Included in the 4/5/2023 MD Attorney General’s Report.
