Fr. Martin McKeon
Accused of abuse of two 1962-1965, per L.A.archdiocesan report. At St. Anthony’s Seminary at the time of alleged abuse. One accuser included in a civil suit filed 12/2003. Claims included in $28M settlement by the Franciscans in Santa Barbara. Died in 2/1986. (Also see references in two petitions filed Fall, 2009.) Personnel File released in 5/2012. Included on the Franciscans’ Santa Barbara Province list 5/31/2019. It notes allegations reported in 1993 and 2004 of the sexual abuse of minors in the 1960s. On the Oakland diocese’s list in 2019.
