Fr. Charles Robert Manning
Also known as Robert Manning. Priest of St. Louis Archdiocese, transferred to CO. Removed 1/21/2012 by the Colorado Springs diocese from St. Gabriel the Archangel after an allegation of abuse of a youth. Arrested 5/22/2012 on charges of abuse of a 15-year-old boy. ‘Retired’ 2/23/2012 due to declining health. More charges filed 5/31/2012 in CO regarding the same boy. Living in MO. Denied charges. Jury trial 7/2013. Acquitted on sexual assault and porn; found guilty of two counts of giving the boy marijuana and alcohol. Given four years probation as of 9/2013.
