Fr. John Lord
Named by the Diocese of Orange as one of six priests accused in 2003 of the sexual abuse of minors. Lord died from complications of AIDS in 2/1989 at age 46. Also known as Father “Jack”. He had been at St. Columban Parish for 6 years before his death. Shown as absent on sick leave in the 1988 Catholic Directory. A civil suit was filed in 12/2003 by one plaintiff. Settlement in 2005 of $3,739,842.
