Fr. John Charles Keith
Ordained for the Jesuits. Incardinated into the San Diego diocese in 1961. Accused in a lawsuit of molesting a 12-year-old boy in 1985. Settled in 1999 for $95K. The alleged victim’s mother said she complained repeatedly to the diocese, but no action. Keith denied all charges. He admitted to being a recovering alcoholic. Retired in 1990. Died in 5/03. Included on list released by San Diego diocese 3/30/07. New suit filed in 2008. Settled in 4/10. Personnel file released in 10/10.
