Fr. Edward G. Joyce
Monsignor. First named publicly as accused in 8/14/2018 PA Grand Jury Report. Died in 1969. Allegation in 12/2002 to the D.A. that Joyce inappropriately touched a boy 1966-1968, with naked massages and heavy touching. Another priest was said to have walked in on them and Joyce was reassigned to an all-girls school. The alleged victim filed suit against Bishop Zubik and Cardinal Wuerl in 10/2018. Joyce’s name is included on the diocese’s list of accused.
