Fr. Robert W. Haener
Accused of psychologically and sexually abusing numerous boys at two parishes and two Catholic schools in the 1960s and early 1970s. During an investigation at a school in the late 1960s, several unknown priests came to the school and questioned about 30 boys. Nothing else was done for many years. Removed from his parish in 1992 and then worked as hospital chaplain. Removed in 2002. Permanently removed from public ministry by the Vatican in 2005. Included on the archdiocese’s list 6/10/2019. Died 4/10/2024.
