Br. Edmund Frost
Assigned to St. Albert the Great Parish in Minneapolis 1964-1975. Left the archdiocese in 1975. Dispensation from vows in 1978. Died in 1995. Named as abuser of one or two boys 1972-1973 in a lawsuit in 2000; dismissed by the Minnesota Court of Appeals due to the statute of limitations. Lawsuit filed in 2005. Accused of abuse of a boy and giving him alcohol and marijuana. Case settled for $450K plus past therapy just before trial. Included on the St. Paul and Minneapolis archdiocese’s list in 2014. Per the Dominicans’ St. Albert the Great Province list 4/21/2022, Frost was accused in Fall 1974 of abuse 1972-1973 and was removed from ministry at his parish.
