Fr. Ross S. Frey
Melkite priest. Accused of molesting numerous adolescent boys 1973-1984 during weekend retreats at St. Basil Salvatorian Center in Methuen. Received treatment. Sent to Lebanon in 1995 after a police officer warned the order of impending “bad publicity,” and was later placed on leave. In active ministry in 12/02 at Notre Dame University – Louaze. Lawsuit with 12 plaintiffs settled in 1999 for $240K. Personnel files released in 12/02. New accusers came forward as of 2012. Accused of sexually abusing a teenage boy 1986-1991 in Lawrence, MA. Frey died 6/20/14.
