Parishioners and staff at Flynt’s first two parish assignments complained to the bishop about Flynt’s behavior. Known for inappropriate expressions of affection for young men. Known in 1992 to be legal guardian of a 6th-grade boy. Name included on the Archdiocese’s 7/9/04 list of priests fully restricted from ministry because of credible allegations of abuse. Shown as laicized per the Archdiocese’s list updated 11/26/07. Laicization date 6/24/04 per personnel file released in 7/13.
