Fr. Paul J. Finegan

Accused in 1980 of abusing two girls; renewed complaint in 1989 regarding same girls, including details of skin-to-skin sexual touching and names of three other possible victims; treated at Southdown and returned to ministry; removed in 2002 after nun reported to Cardinal Law that a “credible young man” had said he had been abused as a minor. Voluntarily laicized in 2005. Last known to be living in Randolph. In 2009 another woman filed a police report which alleged abuse when she worked in rectory as a young teen. Finegan’s name was included on the archdiocese’s list in 8/2011.
