Fr. Lowe B. Dongor
From the Philippines. Arrived in Worcester in 2003. Studied at Assumption College and St. Mary Seminary. Removed in 7/2011 from his first assignment, at St. Joseph’s in Fitchburg, after computer techs reported to the police that Dongor’s computer contained child pornography. He admitted to the porn. Also took money from the parish to send to family in the Philippines. No reason given for his removal until he was arrested in 9/2011. Fled to the Philippines in 11/2011. Extradited to US in 12/2012, arrested and held on bail. Pled guilty 2/26/2012. Sentenced to 2 1/2 years in jail, suspended for 5 years. Laicized.
