Named publicly as accused by the Franciscans’ Santa Barbara Province on its list 5/31/2019. Allegation received in 2004 of the sexual abuse of a minor 1962-1965. Worked in Spokane WA 1961-1964. On the Las Cruces diocese’s list 6/24/2019 (misspelled Cavagaro), where he worked 1971-1973 and 1989-1990. Added to the Gallup diocese’s list in 8/2019; assigned there 9/1/1978-5/1984. On the Phoenix diocese’s list, where he worked in 1985. Also included on the Diocese of Tucson’s list of credibly accused; there 2002-2005 and 2006-2007. Assigned to Casa Franciscana, Guaymas, Sonora in the Diocese of Ciudad Obregon Mexico 1990-2002. Cavagnaro died 3/14/2011.
