Accused in a 10/2007 civil suit of sexually abusing a 17-year-old youth in 2001. Placed on leave. Denied all allegations. Cleared by the archdiocese in In 4/2009. Was to be returned to active status and reassigned to a different parish. Civil suit was unclear as to whether the plaintiff was actually a minor at the time of the alleged abuse in 2001. Lawsuit was “mutually resolved.”
