Fr. David Carriere
Also known as Laurian Carriere). Accused of abuse occurring 1978-1979. Two accusers, per the L.A. archdiocese in 2004. Its errata says only one accuser. At least one civil suit filed. Named in a 8/2006 settlement. Personnel file released in 5/2012. Included on the Santa Barbara Province Franciscans List 7/23/2019. It notes the sexual abuse of a minor 1977-1979, reported in 2004 and 2006. Carrier died in 2000. Added to the Stockton diocese’s list, where he worked 1982-1985 at St. Mary of the Assumption.
