Fr. Felix David Broussard
Pastor of St. Bernard’s and Chancellor of St. Bernard School in Breaux Bridge when arrested 7/27/2016 and charged with 500 counts of child pornography possession (of children from infancy to age 12); a technician had discovered the images on Broussard’s personal computer. Released on bail. Placed on leave. Pleaded not guilty 5/2/2017. Pleaded guilty in 10/2018. Sentenced to five years in prison. Included on the diocese’s list in 4/2019.
