Fr. William G. Breslawski
Monsignor. Complaint to the diocese in 2002 from a person alleging that Breslawski sexually abused their friend in 7th or 8th grade, in 1980. Diocese revisited file in 2018, gave accuser’s name to D.A. and launched an internal investigation. Files showed another complaint in 2002 by two people alleging that in 1984 Breslawski was inappropriate with them; both were adults during the incident. Suspended in 9/18. Included in 3/21 on the diocese’s list of accused.

Our Database of Publicly Accused does not state or imply that individuals facing allegations are guilty of a crime or liable for civil claims. The reports contained in the database are merely allegations. The U.S. legal system presumes that a person accused of or charged with a crime is innocent until proven guilty. Similarly, individuals who may be defendants in civil actions are presumed not to be liable for such claims unless a plaintiff proves otherwise. Admissions of guilt or liability are not typically a part of civil or private settlements. For more information, see our posting policy.
