Br. Paul Botty
Professed vows in 1980. Assignments included Chaminade Julienne High School in Dayton, OH and St. Joseph’s High School in Cleveland. Removed from public ministry in 1986. Convicted of sexual battery. In 3/1986 sentenced to 7 1/2 years for molesting four teenage boys; 12 felony counts dismissed. Case reported in State v. Botty, 1988 WL 86954 (Ohio App). Died 12/27/2007 in CA. Marianist Newsletter 1/8/2008 referred to him as a “former Marianist.” Included on the U.S. Marianists list 6/24/2020, with the suffix F.X.
