Fr. Claude J. Bender
A boy claimed he was abused by Bender during the 1970s. Settled claim for $25K in 1993. Bender was on sick leave per 1990 Catholic Directory and died 10/19/1991. Diocese said it did not know about Bender’s behavior until after his death. On diocese’s list 2/13/2019.
