Fr. John J. Bagley
Finished seminary in Rome. Worked at Vatican 1972-1974. Placed on leave in 2/2002 after a man called the Diocese to complain of abuse in 1967 when he was 17. The abuse allegedly occurred during a trip from Worcester to Canada. The man had complained to Bishop Harrington in 1994, but no action. At least one more accuser located. Unable to prosecute in MA due to the statute of limitations. Matter referred to Canada for possible prosecution. A second man filed a civil suit in 12/2004, alleging abuse in 1963. Trial set for 2006.
