Christopher Hayes, a 46-year-old realtor, youth lacrosse coach, and church deacon, has been arrested following a disturbing investigation into child pornography and bestiality. The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office uncovered hundreds of explicit files linked to Hayes, including videos depicting child sexual abuse and sexual acts involving animals.
The investigation began on December 12, 2024, when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) issued a CyberTip.
The tip alleged that four files containing child pornography had been uploaded to Kik Messenger on August 16, 2024. The tip included critical details such as an email address, a Kik username (phalcuttlefish2.0_309), and an IP address traced to Frontier Communications in Land O’ Lakes, Florida.
Subpoenas were issued to Kik, Frontier, and Google, revealing that the IP address was registered to Christopher Hayes in Spring Hill, Florida, Pasco County.
Warning: Some of the details below are graphic.
A content warrant executed on February 24, 2025, uncovered hundreds of files associated with Hayes’ Kik account, including normal photos, nude images, videos of daily activities, and lacrosse events.
Among the files were two videos identified as child pornography with details too explicit to write.
Additionally, investigators found 80 files depicting sexual acts between humans and animals, including 74 videos of sexual intercourse.
Five of these videos featured Hayes’ black Labrador retriever allegedly performing sexual acts on him. According to deputies, Hayes’ voice and home environment were identifiable in the videos, and his wife confirmed the dog’s identity during the investigation.
Hayes’ Double Life
Hayes, a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway, youth lacrosse coach, and deacon at his local church, led a seemingly respectable life in the community.
However, the investigation revealed a dark side to his persona. Hayes was the administrator of a Kik group called “Knot4nothing,” where he went by the username “Phal” and posted explicit content. His profile included a collage of photos with captions describing his interests in disturbing and illegal activities.
The Arrest
On March 7, 2025, detectives with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office visited Hayes’ home to question him. Initially, Hayes denied any knowledge of Kik or the allegations. However, when shown videos and photos from his account, he admitted to being the person in the photos but claimed he did not post them.
Confronted with a video of himself engaging in sexual acts with his dog, Hayes denied it was him but could not explain how the video ended up on his account.
Hayes was arrested and transported to the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center, where he remains in custody on a $900,000 bond with a total of 90 charges.
Authorities are continuing to investigate Hayes’ activities and are urging anyone with additional information to come forward.
