SNAP members were outside the Cathedral on Lindell yesterday handing fliers to church-goers that pointed out that six alleged wrongdoers worked there. Five are priests who have been sued for child sex crimes: Fr. James Gummersbach; Fr. James Pavik; Fr. Chester Gaiter; Fr. Bryan Kuchar and Fr. Xiu “Joseph” Jiang (who faces current criminal charges). And one is Bishop Robert Finn, now of Kansas City, who was convicted last year of refusing to report a pedophile priest.Kuchar has completed his jail time and now works at Lumiere Place casino, according to the state sex offender registry.
