LOUIS – Today a jury in a civil trial in Lincoln County, Missouri, returned a verdict in favor of both the Archdiocese of St. Louis and Reverend Joseph Jiang. The lawsuit alleged that Father Jiang had inappropriate contact with a then-high-school-aged girl in 2012. The archdiocese and Father Jiang have steadfastly denied these allegations since they were first raised and are pleased with the jury’s decision today. Father Jiang will now enter a process for the return to active ministry.
