	Former Priest Dies after 1-Car Crash St. Cloud Times (Minnesota) November 24, 2005 MELROSE - A former St. Cloud Diocese priest died Tuesday after he was injured early Nov. 17 in a one-vehicle crash near his home in Melrose Township. The Rev. William Nicholas Garding, 66, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital, then transferred to Hennepin County Medical Center. Garding was driving north on Stearns County Road 13 when he drove across the south lane of traffic and went into the west ditch, the sheriff's office said. Garding's station wagon hit a field approach, went airborne and struck several trees before coming to a stop.
