	Sister Mary Eucharistica McNichol, SHCJ The Oregonian October 18, 2002 A funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, in Rosemont, Pa., for Sister Mary Eucharistica McNichol, SHCJ, who died Oct. 16 at age 100. Sister Mary Eucharistica was born Emma McNichol on May 22, 1902, in Philadelphia. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and later received a master's degree from the University of Portland. She was a Sister of the Holy Child Jesus who moved to Portland in 1952. She taught at several Portland-area parish schools, including, St. Rita Catholic School, St. Rose Catholic School and St. Charles Catholic School. She was later the chaplain for the Jallo Nursing Home. She returned to Pennsylvania in 1978. Survivors include her niece, Joann Rutherford; and grandnephew, John Rutherford.
