Former priest pleads guilty to sexual abuse

The Rev. Louis Francis Piskula, a former priest who served at several local Catholic parishes, pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual abuse in Daviess Circuit Court on Wednesday.

Piskula, 74, was scheduled to face trial on June 18 on one count of first-degree sodomy of a minor under 12 and one count first-degree sexual abuse of a minor under 12.
