The trial for a former priest accused of Indecency With a Child has been postponed.

John Salazar's trial was supposed to start today in Swisher County, but for some reason was postponed.

Officials haven't given a reason why.

You'll remember, Salazar pleaded guilty to the charge back in 2001. Salazar was a priest from the Amarillo Catholic Diocese working in Tulia until 2003.

He served time in a California prison during the mid 80's and had another Sexaul Assault case brought against him in Dallas in 2004.
