Investigators say a confession from a local priest is leaving him facing serious charges.
Father Vincent Panepinto is accused of stealing $10,000 from the Our Lady Of The Americas. Police say he took the money over a three-year period, between 2007 and 2010.
Investigators say Panepinto told them he took the money because he was being blackmailed. He was suspended in March after claims of sex abuse. The 69-year-old has now been charged with grand larcency.
