The Franklin County Detention Center confirms Father Joseph Muench was released Thursday by court order. A judge sentenced Muench to a year in jail back in May, after he entered an Alford Plea to charges of unlawful imprisonment and criminal attempt to commit sexual abuse. Three men claimed Muench abused them in the 1980s at the Good Shepherd Parish in Frankfort.
