	Settlement Reached in Diocese Case By Josh Verges Argus Leader June 9, 2009 http://www.argusleader.com/article/20090609/NEWS/906090304/1001/news A former O'Gorman High School student who accused a teacher of sexual abuse has resolved his federal lawsuit against the Sioux Falls Catholic Diocese. The diocese reached a deal with 54-year-old Tom Gust during a mediation conference last week in Sioux Falls before U.S. Magistrate Judge John Simko, court records show. Gust, who now lives in California, accused typing teacher Bob Krantz of forcing himself on Gust in a supply room in 1970 after keeping him after school, court documents state. Gust said school staff hid the abuse and expelled him from school. Gust said he repressed memories of the incident until 2005, when he learned about dozens more allegations while surfing the diocese Web site. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
