Bishop Joseph Charron of the Diocese of Des Moines announced the action against the Rev. Phillip Hobt today. The two were in attendance during a Mass on Thursday at the school that was part of Catholic Schools Week. St. Albert Schools President Brian Osborne said he doesn't know anything specific about the accusations but law enforcement has been informed per diocesan policy and no charges have been issued.
