	Former St. Albert's Student Alleges Abuse by Priest KCCI February 2, 2007 http://www.kcci.com/news/10912446/detail.html Des Moines, Iowa -- The Bishop of the Diocese of Des Moines has placed a priest on leave amid allegations of sexual abuse of a minor. Bishop Joseph L. Charron put the Rev. Phillip Hobt on leave, making him unable to function publicly as a priest. The allegation was made by a former student at St. Albert Catholic Schools, where Hobt began working in 1995, according to a news release. The allegation currently rests with the Diocesan Allegation Review Committee, the release said.
