	Witness Relates Boys Town Turf Battle By Todd Cooper Omaha World-Herald October 1, 2006 http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_pg=1636&u_sid=2246030 A former Boys Town police chief testified Tuesday that he was frequently frustrated by a Boys Town administrative unit that insisted on doing its own investigations of alleged crimes before reporting them to his Police Department. Steve Halley, chief of the village's Police Department from 1994 to 1998, testified during the first day of a civil trial over an alleged sexual abuse incident from 1997.
