Jerzy Sieczynski who was suspended by the Catholic Archdiocese could spend the next few years in prison. A judge sentenced Sieczynski to three years in prison. The former priest will have to serve at least a year before he is eligible for parole. Sieczynski was arrested in 2004 after a service technician found hundreds of pornographic images of children on his personal computer. At that time, he was on probation for a 2003 charge of indecent exposure, that misdemeanor charge is still pending in court. Sieczynski could have received a 10-year prison term, but prosecutors are satisfied with the three-year sentence. Sieczynski was a priest for 25 years. He served as associate pastor of St. Matthew Catholic Church until 2003 when he was suspended following his arrest for indecent exposure.
