	Priest Sentenced in Child-Porn Case KSAT August 3, 2006 http://www.ksat.com/news/9623353/detail.html San Antonio -- A priest was sentenced to three years in prison Thursday for possessing child pornography. The Rev. Jerzy Sieczynski applied for probation as punishment but District Judge Sid Harle rejected his request. Harle told Sieczynski, who faced a maximum of 10 years in prison, that he had performed good works as a priest, but that the clergy are held to a higher standard. Sieczynski pleaded guilty to four counts of possessing child pornography. A cable repairman found more than 200 images of child pornography on Sieczynski's computer in January 2004. At that time, Sieczynski was on probation for exposing himself to an undercover police officer in a city park. Sieczynski must serve a little more than two years in prison before he is eligible for parole.
