	Former Port Dover Priest Back in Court August 3 CD98.9 [Canada] June 27, 2006 http://www.cd989.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=5546 An 83 year old former Port Dover priest will be in a Chatham court August 3rd. Charles Sylvestre is facing sex related charges involving 47 women while he served as a priest in Sarnia, London, Chatham and Pain Court. According to the London Free Press the day long court schedule potentially means the priest could plead guilty to some or all of the 61 charges he faces. The charges date back as far as 1954 and extend to 1990. The women were between 9 and 14 at the time. The charges include indecent assault, rape, sexual interference with a female under 14 and attempted rape.
