Lawyers for Ledroit Beckett said they have approached the Pembroke diocese with a potential compensation plan for the alleged victims of Msgr. Bernard Prince, 71, who is accused of sexually assaulting 12 young males in the late 1960s and 1970s. The plan would include monetary compensation and immediate counselling. Ledroit Beckett, who is representing the victim's group at the Cornwall public inquiry which is examing the institutional response into allegations of sexual abuse, announced their efforts to seek the compensation plan at an 11 a.m. press conference in Pembroke.
