	Boys Town Sex Abuse Lawsuit Tossed out Chicago Tribune [Omaha NE] May 19, 2006 http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-0605190115 may19,1,212662.story?coll=chi-newsnationworld-hed OMAHA, NEBRASKA -- A judge has dismissed a sexual abuse lawsuit against Girls and Boys Town and a priest who worked at the home for wayward children, saying the plaintiff failed to proceed with the case. Judges now have thrown out three of five sex abuse lawsuits filed against the former Boys Town, the home founded by Father Edward Flanagan in 1917 and immortalized in the 1938 movie of the same name. A Cheyenne, Wyo., man who was a student at the home from 1985 to 1989 had said in his suit that the priest had molested him several times. The suit, filed in September and dismissed this week, alleged that Girls and Boys Town failed to adequately supervise the priest.
