	Judge in LA Priest's Trial Urges Jury to Reach Agreement KESQ February 22, 2006 http://www.kesq.com/Global/story.asp?S=4534874&nav=9qrx LOS ANGELES A jury in Los Angeles takes another crack this morning at deciding the fate of a retired Roman Catholic priest being tried on molestation charges. The panel members return to deliberations after the judge in Michael Wempe's trial urged them to find "common ground". Jurors told the judge yesterday that the panel is divided, with some members having made up their minds. He pleaded with them to keep trying to agree on a verdict on all five counts that the ex-priest faces. On Friday, jurors returned a verdict on one of those charges, but the judge is keeping that decision under seal until the panel decides on all the counts.
