Rev Had Sex with His 3 Daughters: DA By Murray Weiss and Hasani Gittens New York Post February 10, 2006 http://www.nypost.com/news/regionalnews/59907.htm February 10, 2006 -- Shocking charges of sexual abuse and incest have been leveled at the minister of a Long Island church, authorities said yesterday. The 53-year-old minister at a Westbury Baptist church — whose name is being withheld to protect his alleged victims — has been having sex with his three daughters, now 19, 14, and 12, for the past five years in their Rockaway home, according to the Queens District Attorney's Office. Police sources said he confessed when he was arrested early yesterday. "What allegedly happened to these children is every child's and mother's worst nightmare," said DA Richard Brown. He said the abuse took place between July 2001 and last month. The suspect started having sex with his eldest daughter when she was 14, officials said. He allegedly began to victimize the other two girls around September 2004. "This is shocking to us because we've known him for over 15 years," said one neighbor. "I can't sleep now, this leaves me in shock — this is something I can't understand." The minister faces charges including incest and endangering the welfare of a child. murray.weiss@nypost.com
